So sorry Anita & your huge extended family. I just discovered your loss today. :( He was an extraordinary man. I met Wesley & Anita when I moved to Leeds @ the Red Roof Grocery. Both wonderful & memorable people ! You have tremendous memories of him to hold in your hearts forever. He was loved by many, & will be missed. He's your guardian angel now Nita. I want you all to know that I loved Wes and will miss him very much. Running over snakes with the lawnmower. Price is Right at 11. Westerns on TVLand. Baseball on the radio in the outhouse at camp. Bye Baby Bunting. Swings inside the house. Lollipops, cow tails, and sour patch kids. Pointing out change on the ground. "Have you had enough to eat?" A Maine accent you could cut with a knife and more colloquiallisms than you could count. I will always remember Wes & Anita comming to our house back in the 60's and playing pinko a card game with my father & mother also Wes helping my father build our barn and garage and my uncle Joe (Anitas father) making home brew and Joe my father and Wes bottling it, what a comedy act. He will be missed by all.

Although I didn't know Papa, I do know how much he meant to Trish and family. My interactions with him were limited to occasional at the kids birthday parties and other gathering at Bill and Trish's house .
